Illustration is not only a growing trend in the wedding industry, it’s a long-standing artistic tradition with a wonderful variety of function and use. I “got in trouble” a LOT in art school for making every project into an illustration instead of whatever I guess I was supposed to be making, so I guess it’s just my thing. Fun fact: I’ve illustrated two children’s books so far (and I’m always down for another! Wink wink) What I love about illustrating is that it serves a function and tells a story. Illustrations are alive and accessible…they don’t just hang out on museum walls (well, some do that too) but they are in our books and homes and Instagram feeds. All that to say, if you need a simple illustration for your party invitations or a portrait of your dog or an entire book’s worth of illustrations, I’ve got you.
